By rail: New Jersey Transit operates a major station in New Brunswick on the Northeast Corridor line; the station is a short hop from a main Amtrak rail station at Metropark in Iselin.

By bus: New Jersey Transit and Suburban Transit provide regular daily service, both local and to New York and Philadelphia.

By air: New Brunswick has excellent train connections to Newark Liberty International Airport—a major East Coast air hub with many direct flights domestically and abroad. New York’s John F. Kennedy (J.F.K.) and LaGuardia airports are also accessible via car and public transportation.

By bike: The New Jersey section of the East Coast Greenway passes through Rutgers University–New Brunswick.

Getting around

If you are coming by car to Rutgers University–New Brunswick, please know that complementary parking will be provided. Attendees may park in Lots 26 and 30, as well as on the College Avenue Deck. Rutgers faculty, staff, and students must utilize the lots in which they are normally authorized to park.
